The bank on both the sides of the creek extends and divides Dubai into two landmarks and they are the northern Diera and Bur Dubai in the south. Spice Souk, Gold Souk, Hatta mountains, Grand Mosque, Dubai Trade Centre and Dubai Museum are some other attractions. One thing to try for sure is the Dubai cuisine. Auspiciously and regrettably, there is not anything like "customary" Dubai food. Mezze consists of plenty of nibbles dished up on the table all at the same time, escorted with olives and flatbreads and not like a well structured three course meal. A further quite well-liked street food in Dubai is "shawarma" which consists of skewered meat strips positioned on pita bread along with a variety of vegetables and salad covering. Apart from these local cuisines, many of the well-known American fast food joints such as KFC, McDonald's and Starbucks have their openings in Dubai.
